"TO DREAM OMELETTES" (RBA - La Magrana) és un libre-joc on hi ha 1296 locucions i frases fetes catalanes, traduïdes a l'anglès. Però no es tracta de traduccions acurades, sinó traduccions fetes pel broc gros, traduccions directes, literals del català a l'anglès. Aquest llibre està pensat per jugar i riure, però ens demostra la força del llenguatge: frases i locucions plenes de significat que traduïdes literalment esdevenen absolutament absurdes.

Seguint l'esperit del llibre us proposo jugar: transcriuré algunes de les frases en anglès i heu d'endevinar a quina locució catalana correspon. Al final posaré les solucions.
